Do you have patients wait a specified period of time between injections when switching biologics?

You? Well, we don't have a lot of guidance on how best to move from one biologic to another when we're switching medications, so there isn't a whole lot of research guidance. But from my perspective, I traditionally do not necessarily have a patient wait a specified period of time after the injection of one drug to the point of moving to another drug. If they had just done their injection for an aisle 23 that, say, was a Q twelve week aisle 23, I might have them wait a month before they started into a new aisle 23 or an aisle 17 or a TNF or whatever I'm moving to. But traditionally I allow them to go ahead and start the new drug once it arrives. They're typically a patient who they weren't doing as well as you might have liked before. That's why you're making the switch in the first place. And so in those situations, having them a little overloaded with drug in the beginning may actually help them see clearance a little bit quicker. So from my perspective, I don't ever wait.
